Born and raised in the Yukon, I first fell in love with photography through one of my most influential teachers in high school: Mr. Ernie Swerhun. What started as an easy way out of working, led to learning how to shoot, develop and process black and white print film, but more importantly led to a love of the art.
In the last 17 years of photography, my techniques have evolved as much as my interests in subjects. Sometimes it's odd looking back over my work and seeing mostly landscapes, when in fact I vastly prefer taking pictures of people.
The goal of this site is simply to share my work, encourage others to partake in and learn photography, and hopefully inspire me to capture images outside my comfort zone.
